Gosset with Linux


Gosset runs beautifully under Linux. The most recent version requires no modification before compiling. I run Gosset on Debian Linux.

Instructions:
To run Gosset on Linux you will need the gcc compiler and libraries. If you don't know how to install them (or what I am talking about!) then please ask you IT department for help.

Next, visit the Gosset home page, download the file "codemart.cpio" and follow the installation instructions.

Linux

Linux is a very stable, Unix-like operating system. It provides an inexpensive way to run Gosset on a PC. You can investigate Linux at the following links:
