Advanced Measurement System Analysis
Advanced
Measurement System Analysis is a workshop for scientists, chemists,
troubleshooters, and engineers in advanced techniques for measurement system analysis,
including Gage Repeatability and Reproducibility (Gage R&R)studies of complex systems. The math
is done using JMP software.
Benefits
of the Workshop
- You will review basic measurement system analysis
- You will be able to design and execute Gage R&R studies for complex measurement systems
- You will be able to measure the affect oflot-to-lot variation
- You will be able to study destructive test systems
- You will be able to study nested measurement systems
- You will know the difference between fixed and random effects and how to analyze them
In
2 days you will learn
- How to
measure and report measurement uncertainty.
- How to
determine measurement system accuracy.
- How to
determine measurement system repeatability and reproducibility.
- How to
know if your measurement system can be trusted for accepting or
rejecting product.
- How to
create a Gage Performance Curve for reporting your results
in an easy to understand format.
This
is What Happens During the Training
- You will
learn what "Response Variation" is and why it is important.
- You will
learn to measure "noise" in your measurements.
- You will
learn to identify sources of error in your measurements.
- You will
learn to perform a Gage Repeatability and Reproducibility (Gage R&R)
Study with fixed and random effects.
Enhanced Training
You will maximize your use of Measurement System Analysis when you apply it to mission
critical projects. You now receive access to ObDOE's consultants
for advice and help, allowing you to learn skills pertinent to your
specific projects, above and beyond the foundation you receive in class.
(You can already ask questions free, for life, about what you
learn in class. The Enhanced Training means you can ask questions
about anything for a full year.)
Prerequisites
None.
On-site Price
Note: The minimum number of students is 10 -- Travel and software expenses are not included.
10 to 15 Students |
16 to 24 Students |
$1700 per student |
$1550 per student |
Example 1: 12 students = 12 x $1700 = $20,400 plus travel and software expenses
Example 2: 20 students = 20 x $1550 = $31,000 plus travel and software expenses

Custom
Training
Your In-House Trainer can Teach Our Course
We will train your in-house staff to teach "Performing Objective
Experiments." If you have a large staff to train, this may
be your most economical solution.
If your in-house staff doesn't require training, they can still
use our training materials for a very reasonable price.
