Creating Custom Experiment Designs

Creating Custom Experiment Designs is a workshop for scientists, chemists, troubleshooters, and engineers who wish to create their own custom experiment designs.

Benefits of the Workshop

• You will no longer have to modify your experiments to fit existing designs.

• You will be able to create custom designs using a simple Graphical User Interface.

• You will be in command of the full power of Design of Experiments.

In 2 days you will learn:

• How to use a Graphical User Interface to create custom designs.

• How to create designs with mixed factor types.

• How to create designs with multiple mixtures and/or discrete factors.

• How to create designs with blocking factors.

• How to augment historical data to create a design.

• How to augment a design for a more complex model.

• How to get your design into your favorite DOE software.

This is What Happens During the Training:
You will use your computer to generate a variety of custom designs in several exercises. You will learn to use your choice of software: WmGosset, a Graphical User Interface for Gosset, or JMP.
You will learn to save your designs in Microsoft Excel format.

Enhanced Training
You will maximize your use of DOE when you apply it to mission critical projects. You now receive access to ObDOE's consultants for advice and help, allowing you to learn skills pertinent to your specific projects, above and beyond the foundation you receive in class. (You can already ask questions free, for life, about what you learn in class. The Enhanced Training means you can ask questions about anything for a full year.)

Prerequisites
You need to have taken "Performing Objective Experiments" or its equivalent. "Objective Experiments for Mixtures and Discrete Factors" is highly recommended.

Note: The minimum number of students is 10 -- Travel and software expenses are not included.

10 to 15 Students	16 to 24 Students
$1700 per student	$1550 per student

Example 1: 12 students = 12 x $1700 = $20,400 plus travel and software expenses

Example 2: 20 students = 20 x $1550 = $31,000 plus travel and software expenses

The workshop price includes the workshop manual and the exercise manual. WmGosset and Gosset are free. JMP is extra.
