ObDOE workshops increase your know-how.
"People rarely use what they learn in training workshops." Do you feel this way? We can't blame you. Many training courses are taught with so much jargon that students can't follow much of what is said. Many training "workshops" provide little or no practice of the concepts in class. Many, many workshops do not provide after class follow-up help for free.
We make you this promise:
You will learn to use Design of Experiments, Reliability Analysis, and Measurement System Analysis.
How can we keep this promise?
- We teach in plain English—without technical jargon, so you can concentrate on the objectives and the practical implementation of the methods, rather than learning a new vocabulary.
- We use no complex math in the teaching. We teach the important mathematical concepts using pictures. These pictures are quite literally worth a thousand mathematical words.
- You are encouraged to ask as many questions as you want during the workshop.
- You will practice what you learn immediately after learning it. We tell you what the objectives are for each section of the workshop, we teach the objectives, then you practice the objectives in hands-on exercises using data from real industrial work.
- If questions arise after the workshop is over, you can still ask questions -- for free -- using E-Mail, FAX, US Mail, or our toll free telephone number. You can ask these questions for as many years as you may have questions.
It is ObDOE's goal to make sure you USE what you learn, so we provide you with unique, high-level after-workshop support for 365 days after your workshop ends. Here are a few examples:
- You can talk with your instructor about anything you learned in class at NO EXTRA COST (toll-free, even!).
- You can email your designed experiments to him for review.
- You can ask her to analyze your experimental results, or to review your analysis to see if you missed anything.
- Your instructor will review your presentation of your results before you actually go to the meeting.
- You can brainstorm which factors to use and other specific parts of your plans before you begin the expensive step of running your experiments and collecting your data.
- You can talk about the weather with your instructor if it helps you get your work done!
